The rbCarbon adhesive system gives you the freedom to position all adhesive fittings in a hoof and horse-friendly position! At the same time, it guarantees a firm, secure hold of the fittings over the entire period of application on any surface, whatever the load, and is very easy and quick to process.
rb-Carbon adhesive collars can be used with almost all plastic fittings made of TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane). They consist of a specially shaped body with a layer made of a very tear-resistant elastomer that can be glued to the hoof wall very easily, quickly and durably. The execution of the adhesive collars as left and right side enables the fittings to be freely positioned, the coffin toe is not required for fixation. It is also possible to reset the fittings in order to ensure that the hooves roll freely. Accordingly, the hoof is not artificially lengthened forwards as with other adhesive systems and the increased wear and tear of fittings and adhesive tabs in the toe area is also eliminated. The individual tabs were designed in such a way that they can nestle against the hoof wall as best as possible and still offer a large adhesive surface. The enormously strong holding power of the tabs on the hoof also enables hooves to be glued on, which, due to their shape, a special footing (pushing or rotating footing) of the limbs or a special riding or driving load, could otherwise only be supplied with adhesive fittings to a very limited extent. Nevertheless, the rbCarbon adhesive flaps are designed in such a way that they tear off when used as intended if the animal steps into the shoe itself or otherwise gets stuck with its hoof on a solid obstacle. Because a torn fitting is always better than pulled or even torn tendons and ligaments! Of course, it is also possible to glue fittings and additional orthopedic measures, such as, for example, inserted padding. rbCarbon adhesive collars are welded to the side of the shoe with hot air and quickly and neatly fixed to the hoof with one-component adhesive. rbCarbon adhesive collars can also be used in less than optimal ambient conditions such as heat, cold or wetness and still reliably do their job of keeping the shoe securely on the hoof for the entire shoeing period! Although the processing of our adhesive collars and fittings is quite easy to do with a little practice, the fitting of the fittings should always be carried out by a trained specialist who, in addition to the processing of the fittings, is also proficient in the professional trimming and preparation of the hooves.
